By using captivating photography and film, coupled with engaging, informative and accessible editorial, Raising Outdoor Kids will not only showcase spectacular adventures but it will tackle the issues of the day, from conservation to climate change.
Raising Outdoor Kids will emphasize the role everyone plays in the bigger picture, the impact everyone makes, the action anyone can take and the responsibility everyone has to investing in and caring for our natural landscape. It aims to balance a digitally-engaged, if not dependent, culture – particularly among today’s youth. To make the biggest impact possible, Raising Outdoor Kids will never compromise on quality and will encourage influential voices to engage on issues and address our audience.
It only makes sense that the idea for Raising Outdoor Kids came to be outdoors. Since that moment, Ron – an avid outdoorsman and photographer – and Lisa – an award-winning journalist, have been working to bring it to life. With five kids between the two of them, and a never-ending thirst for outdoor adventure, Ron and Lisa are raising outdoor kids. And, with the launch of this new media outlet, they are also Raising Outdoor Kids.
